Dr. Grzegorz Ombach joins AdvEn Inc.’s Board of Directors as Chairman

Calgary, Alberta — March 30, 2022 —AdvEn Inc. (“AdvEn”) proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Grzegorz Ombach (“Greg”), Senior Vice President and Head of Disruptive Research and Technology for Airbus SE (EPA:AIR), as Chairman of AdvEn’s board of directors.

Dr. Ombach holds more than 25 years of experience in technology, power systems, strategy and innovation. He is responsible for global research, development and innovation at Airbus and is leading the push for creating a sustainable fleet of electric powered aircraft. He was previously Executive Vice President for Draexlmaier Group (revenue EUR 5 billion, 75,000 employees) where he was head of strategy, innovation and battery systems.

“Greg’s background and success will take AdvEn into the future by supporting our global aspirations and market development plans,” said Yanguang Yuan, Chief Executive Officer who will be stepping down as Chairman and remain a director. “Greg’s vision and deep understanding of the battery industry provides us with valuable insights into how we apply our current technologies and how to direct our future research and development efforts.”

Greg Ombach is a seasoned international senior executive with 25+ years of experience in technology, power systems, strategy and innovation. As the Chairman of AdvEn’s Board of Directors, he brings a range of expertise that he earned as Senior Vice President and Head of Disruptive Research and Technology for Airbus SE where he was responsible for global research, development and innovation. Greg was also the former Executive Vice President for Draexlmaier Group (revenue EUR 5 billion, 75,000 employees) where he was head of strategy, innovation and battery systems.
